HOLIDAY RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR LE MANOIR DE TACHAU

1. A booking cannot be confirmed until the booking form, acceptance of these terms and conditions and a non-refundable deposit of £150 per gite are returned to us, duly completed and signed. These terms apply to properties at Le Manoir de Tachau and at La Ferme de Tachau and at La Ferme du Manoir.
   
   
2. On receipt of your deposit, a Holiday Booking Acknowledgement form will be returned to the tenant(s).
   
   
3. The balance due for the rental period must be paid no less than eight weeks before the date of arrival of the tenant(s).
   Any delay may result in cancellation of the booking.
   
   
4. In the event that the booking is made during the eight weeks preceding the arrival of the tenant, the total rental charge is payable upon acceptance of the booking.
   
   
5. A security deposit of £150 per gite rented is required to cover any damage or loss during the rental period.
   An inventory will be made before the guests departure and the deposit will be returned either on the departure date or at the latest within four weeks of departure. An inventory for each gite is placed in the information folder.
   
   
6. Any cancellation on the part of the tenants must be made by registered post to Surrey Quality Leisure Services, Le Manoir de Tachau, St Sernin de Duras 47120, France. If the cancellation is made during the eight week period prior to the arrival of the tenant, the tenant remains liable for the full cost of the rental period reserved.
   
   
7. The tenant undertakes to allow maintenance personnel, cleaning staff and the owners reasonable access to the property rented for the purposes of repair and maintenance.
   
   
8. Guests should arrive on the first day of rental after 1600 hours and must vacate the property on their departure date no later than 1000 hours. Any additional part or complete days in the property will be chargeable pro rata.
   
   
9. The tenant will be responsible for maintaining the property, furniture, furnishings, fittings and equipment in the same position and the same state as they were found on arrival.
   
   
10. The tenants are responsible for the loss or damage to any items made available as part of the tenancy.
    If the cost of the repair or replacement exceeds the damage deposit paid, the tenant remains liable for the difference between
    the security deposit and the total cost of repair.
    
    
11. A 1.5 hours cleaning period is provided on the day of departure for each gite.
    If additional cleaning is required this is charged at £12 per hour.
    
    
12. The owners cannot be held responsible during the holiday rental period for:
    1. Loss or theft of property belonging to the tenants.
    2. Death or injury to the tenants.
    3. Any impediment caused to full enjoyment of the property and facilities resulting
       from force majeure, storms, fire, accident, warfare, strikes, governmental or administrative decisions etc.
       
       
13. When using the swimming pool please ensure that:
    1. Access gate is closed & bolted.
    2. Pool alarm system is not switched off.
    3. No glass ware is taken into the pool area (damage to pool liner!!).
    4. No member of your party dives into the water from the patio surround.
    5. The Polaris cleaning robot and the pool alarm system are not interfered with.
    6. All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
    7. No inflatable dingies or lilos may be used in the pool.
    8. Swimming ceases each day at 2200 hours when the pool is closed.
    9. Members of the public may not use the pool at any time.
    
    
14. A grassed area next to the boules court has been set aside for all ball and shuttlecock games.
    
    
15. Guests may not bring pets into their accommodation without the written agreement of the owners.
    
    
16. Although the walls are thick, guests are kindly requested not to disturb other tenants or neighbouring properties by loud noise or music.
    
    
17. For guests at Le Manoir de Tachau please park your vehicle in the bay allocated in the Tobacco Barn (Le Sechoir)
    
    
18. Any legal problems shall be dealt with under the jurisdiction of the laws of England and Wales.
    
    
19. It is strongly recommended that your stay in the gite is covered by your holiday insurance.
